Tower Air operated into Rhein Main AB, Germany as well as Frankfurt International Airport, Germany and Paris Orly and Charles Degaulle Airport, France. Maintenance support including providing Flight Technicians outside the United States were performed by Storm Air, Inc. and Storm Air, GmbH. in locations outside the US, such as Amsterdam, Antwerp, Paris, Cologne, Mumbai, Delhi, Moscow, Brazil, and in Saudia Arabia during Desert Storm.

Tower Air carried the first German troops to deploy outside the country since World War II and carried also the first UN troops into Haiti after Arastide rose to power. Tower Air also carried the largest piece of oilfield equipment ever to be shipped by air to Brazil. In May of 1995, Tower Air flew the White House Press Corp as it accompanied Pres. Clinton's visit to Moscow to commemorate the V-E Day 50th Anniversary Celebrations. That trip then went onto Kiev, Ukraine for a Presidential visit to promote US Commerce in the newly independent nation. Tower Air also carried the White House Press Corp during Presidential visits to Germany and other high level events.

Tower Air during it's history never suffered a fatal accident and the worst incident was the accident in New York which was largely atributed to a last minute change in runways and atc error as well as pilot error. The accident in New York ultimately resulted in changes to the B747 Flight Manual and procedures when runways are changed.

Tower Air made news world wide when a cat was lost onboard. Many days later the cat was found safe and unhurt in the sidewall of a baggage compartment. Millions of people around the world followed the events on CNN and other news outlets as the aircraft was searched over and over after a medium confirmed the cat was still on board.
